Context
A file that promises so much and delivers so little. It contains a single sheet of paper, which is a photocopy of a typewritten resolution, passed by the Henly's Corner Flyover Committee.
The committee is an organisation of NIMBYs who lived near Henly's Corner (the junction of A406 and A1, and what would have been an interchange on Ringway 2) and didn't want the flyover to be built. There is no information of any interest here - just a bit of paper from some little-Englanders who didn't want a flyover near their houses.
The resolution rather hypocritically states that the D-Ring road and the "motorway to the docks and channel ports" (the what?) will remove traffic from the North Circular Road and the flyover will be unnecessary. So it's fine for motorways to go near other people's houses then - just not here. They also describe the North Circular as a "secondary road". Ha!
