Context
This thick document concerns the section of Ringway 3 between the A4020 and M1. In amongst the extensive correspondence can be found several maps. The detail of some of them raises hopes that there must have been engineering plans drawn for the whole section covered by this document.
Contents of note
- Large scale plan showing the interchange at Uxbridge Road with Ringway 3 passing over the roundabout. The same map extends northwards to show the limited access interchange at Yeading Lane with south facing slips only.
- Large scale plan of a viaduct carrying Ringway 3 over the exclusive Moor Park housing estate. This map exists as it details the relocation of overhead power lines.
- Diagrammatic map of the area around Denham. This shows the M25/M40 junction as a four level stack, Denham Roundabout as a simple fork, a roundabout interchange where the M25 passes over the A40 and another roundabout interchange where the A412 passes over the M25. The A412 is severed south of Denham Roundabout.
