Context
The third and final in a series begun at MT 139/453 looking at land acquisition for a minor dualling scheme on the A13. I will admit that it seems odd to willingly take out three whole files like this, which make plain in the titles what they refer to and which aspect of the scheme they concern, and then complain that they are tedious; I will say in my defence only that I was hoping to find some information peripheral to this project that I could not find anywhere else, and was not much surprised that I didn't find it here either. But even if it was your lifelong dream to read more about this specific dualling scheme you would probably tire of it before reaching the end of this saga.
Much of this file deals with the Compulsory Purchase Order itself, the generation of which required a large volume of routine paperwork, all of which is here, sometimes in duplicate. This scheme had the additional complication that British Rail weren't 100% certain who owned some land surrounding a railway bridge.
An envelope at the back contains the same four land use plans you can see several times at MT 139/454, and there is another copy of the report into this scheme from its public inquiry, in case you've mislaid the one at MT 139/453.
