The road was eventually built in further modified form as the A12 and opened in the 1990s.<br /> <br /> In this plan the line matches the original M11 route, swinging northish over the marshalling yards, seemingly D2 in width. A D2 surface level road runs south along west side of tracks towards Temple Mills Road, with almost free-flow slips to link road eastward. West facing slips connect to Ruckholt Road which joins D2 to the south at a signalised junction. Link road then joins existing Eastway which has flat-level junction with Temple Mills Road almost immediately - this doesn&#039;t seem to have been a very ambitious scheme.<br /> <br /> Two versions of the same junction are overlaid here. The original version is part of the plan; a second version has been overlaid by hand in marker pen.
