GLC/DG/PUB/01/380 is actually a bundle of unrelated publications and leaflets, tied together with white ribbon and masquerading as one item.

In the middle somewhere you'll find ''Motorways for London'', a short undated leaflet published by the GLC. It has a few paragraphs of text describing the motorways that the GLC wanted to build and the process they would go through (consultation, publication of route, that sort of thing).

It's not actually dated but the text makes it fairly clear this was 1966 - it is obviously after the route of Ringway 1 had been published, which we know to be 1966, and it states the Westway was just starting construction, which fixes it as being not much later than that.
