==Context==
As part of the GLDP inquiry, various Borough Councils were often to be seen stepping forward as objectors on one issue or another. Frequently they were objecting to the GLC's road plans, mainly thanks to the GLC's secretive attitude and lack of conciliation work before the inquiry started.

This file contains a report published by the London Borough of Hounslow arguing against the construction of the 'West London Interchange' on Chiswick, most of which would be levelled to make way for the three motorways. It contains a lot of detail on housing density and analysis of the GLC's proposals from a transportation expert of some form, but no actual detail on what the GLC was proposing, so from a road enthusiast's point of view, it's not a very enlightening piece of work.
