At one stage it starts to look as though Surrey County Council&amp;#039;s existing long-term scheme for a bypass to Stanwell Moor, enticingly called the Spout Lane Diversion, will be appropriated for the spur&amp;#039;s route (which it was, in the end) but before we come to too fast a conclusion someone commissions a detailed study and that&amp;#039;s where we must close this book and move on to the next volume.&lt;br /&gt;
