If you want to look at every scrap of paperwork that was ever generated in the process of recruiting staff for the London Traffic Management Unit, then this is the file for you.

There's a lot of detail here on the numbers of staff that were required, their type and grade, the adverts that were placed for finding people to bring in on secondment from the civil service, recruitment of external candidates and so on. Oddly the only references to the recruitment of the head of the Unit, George Charlesworth, are two short letters discussing it.
