There is a lengthy correspondence with and about the London Borough of Stepney who refused to participate for quite some time, disrupting signage on the Inner Ring Road for some years, until they were eventually persuaded to join in the fun.<br /> <br /> During this period the scheme was expanded to provide local signage across London too, including on roads away from the major rings and radials that had been identified.
