Context

A slim file, but then, aren’t they all in HLG 159? This one contains photocopies of three typewritten sheets.

Among the evidence relating to church property in the Chiswick area is a statement of the GLC’s intention for the A316 to be widened to D3 from Hope and Anchor (A312 junction at Hanworth, where the Country Way Viaduct ends and so does its third lane as things stand) to R2 at Chiswick, and to D2 from there to the Hogarth Roundabout.

The GLC later said that this was a “forecast of their expectation” and not an assurance.
