Context
Another of those HLG 159 files that basically just contain one piece of paper, but this one's a really good piece of paper. It's a huge plan sheet - enormous - and it's a scale plan at approximately 1:2500 showing the route of Ringway 2 superimposed on an OS map, from Jevington Way to just east of Worsley Bridge Road. The superimposed drawing is not perfectly detailed, but does accurately show the extent of the road itself, the sections to be built as cut-and-cover tunnel, and the approximate layout of junctions. Why can't we have one of these for ever part of Ringway 2?
The purpose of the plan is to mark the location from which a series of photographs were taken, but the photographs are not here.
LB Lewisham have also marked the plan with the estimated extent of 65dBA noise levels, with buildings inside those limits highlighted.
