Context
This is the final report published by Charles Bressey and Edwin Lutyens, examining the state of London's road network and recommending a programme of road improvements and construction to remedy the problems that were found. It's the predecessor to later work by Abercrombie and eventually the London Ringways project.
In the rear are two large maps, showing the road proposals marked and numbered on maps of inner and outer London.
The copy owned by Chris is the copy originally owned by Patrick Abercrombie himself and bears his signature in several places. It's missing the Outer London map.
