By 1969, the plans for Milton Keynes were all set to produce a fully fledged modern new town by 1981. This file talks about the resulting effects it would have on the existing road network, paying particular attention to M1 J14, the A5 and the A422 (described as "hopelessly inadequate").
Contents of note
Includes several maps showing the full extent of the Milton Keynes grid plan as originally proposed.
