Context
This is a turn of the 20th century OS one inch map (presumably 3rd edition) with various plans for arterial routes and beyond marked on it, including:
- Dartford Tunnel
- "North Orbital Road" north from Tilbury
- Eastern Avenue
- Southend Arterial Road
- A road running from the Dartford Tunnel, east of Darenth, through Farningham and terminating on the A21 near Halstead
(This lot probably makes more sense to Chris and Steven - any thoughts?)
People with camera copies
Ritchie Swann has a few camera copies, though as always with maps they looked blurred and not good enough quality to upload.
