== Getting round to doing what I described above ==
The previous message from me on this page describes a jolly good idea and now, over a year later, I'm actually doing it. You'll find a lot of your SJ xx pages and my CM xx pages have turned into redirects pointing at generic ones filed under Artefacts, and I've fleshed out the details of one or two of them as well. The joy of a quiet nightshift! --[[User:Chris5156|chris5156]] 02:34, 20 January 2011 (UTC)

Hi Steven!

Welcome to the new ArchiveWiki - faster and nicer to use than the one before. I see you've been making good use of that "Waste of Time" template. --Chris5156 23:40, 27 January 2009 (UTC)

Numbering category

The Numbering category is, at the moment, references just for CBRD's numbering article. Rather than jumble things together, it might be worth creating a second "Motorway Numbering" category for the files relevant to PM. Or if you like the idea of all numbering files together then also an "All-Purpose Road Numbering" category too for the CBRD references.

I'm not (just) being fussy about this, it's also to do with me making full file references available for CBRD features over time, and I'm planning to do it by linking to categories here.

Ta! --Chris5156 10:43, 4 December 2009 (UTC)

Yeah you are just being fussy!!! Seriously, however you want to play it is fine by me. Steven 11:34, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
You are super and wonderful and lovely and generally very marvellous indeed. Ta very much. --Chris5156 17:31, 4 December 2009 (UTC)

Ringways References

Hi Steven! Thanks for adding more stuff on this. Every referenced point is a thumb-to-the-nose, noisily blown raspberry to the [citation needed] loons at Wikipedia :D --Chris5156 00:26, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

Well, just let me know how you want to work maps etc! I can also get hold of images of pages from The Times and The Daily Mirror that I've used as references in the Ringways lists. Let me know if you want me to do anything clever with them. Steven 08:59, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
Might be nice to (somehow) categorise them in [:Category:Artefacts|Artefacts], and maybe include the scan on the wiki even. I'm going to look at how exactly we do maps and newspapers and stuff, probably next week when I'm back from Leeds.
Incidentally - I had a brainwave last night - since you have a copy of, eg, County of London Plan, and I have one as well, why not list it once in Artefacts, and then make your SJ 05 and my CM 09 redirect to it? Saves on duplication and gives us one page to link to. --Chris5156 15:09, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
Works for me. I'm fundamentally lazy, you see... Steven 17:04, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
