This file is a waste of time. You are advised to avoid it like the plague. Its file title sounds rather interesting but it may contain only dull papers that fail to illuminate the subject matter or it may not even be related to the subject suggested by the title. |
Context
This is proof that you should never judge what's in a National Archive file by it's title. Half-inch road map? 1923? Sounds a bit like a big bunch of MOT Maps, ideal for spotting all those niggling early route numbers otherwise consigned to history...
...ah no, it's just a draft for the map's front cover. What a disappointment.
