Context
This file is actually a vast folio of vast plans relating to a London County Council scheme to widen Eltham Road (now part of A20 and A210 in south east London) to a 60ft overall width between Weigall Road and Westmount Road. This was to be achieved principally by demolishing everything on the south side of the road right through the town centre.
From the appearance of the road today, and the buildings along it, it seems this scheme was mostly carried out.
