Context

The Greater London Council was obliged, in its first decade, to create and publish the Greater London Development Plan - the documents whose road schemes are better known to us as the Ringways. Alongside the plan, the GLC attempted to humanise their vision for the future of the city by publishing this companion, which is properly titled Tomorrow's London: A Background to the Greater London Development Plan.

It is very hard to track down, and very worthwhile if you can find a copy.
