A relatively short file detailing early Ministry proposals for a London - Birmingham motorway.
Contents of note
Proposed junction diagrams, reports on costs and routing. Interestingly, the Ministry seems to have started with the line of the 1923 Northern & Western Motorway and progressed from there.
It also includes ideas about extending the London - Birmingham Motorway to Preston.
