Chris is returning to this file later. Why this might be the case is open to all manner of unsavoury speculation, but one insuperable fact remains: Chris has taken this file out before, and he has every intention of taking it out again soon. In most cases this is because he wants camera copies and wasn't able to get them on the first attempt, but it may also be just because he misses it and longs to be near it again.

Context

A slim file with a lot of detail - but no plans. It's concerned with the impact the Egham to Denham section of M25 would have on the landscape and most of the paperwork comes from an exercise in route selection.

There are details here of two site visits carried out by the Ministry's Landscape Advisory Committee, and a reasonably large proportion of all the paperwork here is actually to do with booking coaches and lunch venues.

The remainder are a series of drafts and versions of Landscape Committee reports which describe the various lines under consideration and the issues that each of them presented.
