Context
A fairly hazy and incomplete look at a signalling and surveillance system proposed for the M4 elevated section in West London. The more interesting stuff appears to be at MT 95/857, leaving this file to hold dusty correspondence and some vague proposals for hidden panels on direction signs that could be used to display messages like "M4 closed use A4".
The most detailed information in this file is to do with the planned control centre at Hounslow Police Station. There are plans showing the room at the police station that would be used to control the motorway and diagrams of the control panel's construction.
