Context

This file is almost entirely concerned with the Lancashire County Council Special Road Scheme 1955, which was the initial title of what became the M62 Stretford-Eccles Bypass (and which is now part of the M60). It includes plans of various junctions, including several that were never built or were not built to their original intended design.

It also has an interesting memo explaining slip roads, links and spurs - with diagrams.
