Context
Lots and lots of fairly mundane correspondence about Ringway 3, and other unrelated subjects: the monotonous fretting of South West London as the M3 was plugged in to the Great Chertsey Road is here, for example.
However, the file redeems itself in spectacular fashion by providing not one but two maps that finally answer the question of how Ringway 3 bets from one side of Bushey to the other - a question we have been asking since 2005. The answer is it goes through the middle, of course. The plans also neatly summarise all the proposals that were made for a route between the M1 and M4, and who came up with them, and in which year. Very, very handy!

Chris Marshall has those lovely maps in great detail.
